Koleen joined Securian Financial in 1998 and serves as Director of Meetings & Conference Management. With nearly 40 years of industry experience, she leads a team of planners who produce hybrid and live events where enhanced attendee engagement and accelerated key stakeholder and attendee satisfaction are top priorities. Prior to joining Securian, Koleen served as Tradeshow Manager for Fair Isaac, Inc.’s St. Paul, Minnesota based office and spent 13 years as a corporate meeting planner with the department store division of Dayton Hudson Corporation, now Target Corporation.  She served as an FICP Board Member from 2008 until 2013 and held the chair position in 2012. She has served on several hospitality and planner advisory boards, received a Site Crystal Award for Outstanding International Incentive Program in 2010, and was recognized in 2015 as an outstanding planner by Minnesota Meetings Magazine. Koleen lives in the Twin Cities and spends several weeks each year visiting her daughter who resides in New Zealand.
