ELX invites you to the return of our ELX Forum: Frankfurt, 2024 in collaboration with IMEX.

Join us on May 13-14, 2024. 

ELX Forum, in collaboration with IMEX, acts as one of the cornerstones of our community. 

 

Immerse yourself in an environment of like-minded peers, and benefit from the community's collective knowledge on crucial topics, gaining insights that can be instrumental in the development of your event programs.

 

ELX Forum is a smaller meet-up for the members of our community, it brings a dynamic space where you can navigate through challenges by drawing on the experiences and expertise of other global heads of events, who have successfully overcome similar hurdles in their career. 

 

Join us for this two-day event, where the synergy of collaborative learning and networking converges. Engage with industry leaders, participate in thought-provoking discussions, and take advantage of the unique opportunities ELX Forum has to offer.

What can I expect from the ELX Forum?

The ELX Forum promises an immersive and enriching experience over the course of two days.

Our event kicks off with a vibrant networking evening on Monday, giving you the invaluable opportunity to forge lasting connections with like-minded senior global event leaders. 

Following this, a full day of insightful content tailored for our members, by our members. ELX is resolute in placing open discussion at the forefront of these events. After all, collaborative knowledge is where the real magic happens.

Finally, members commit to a full day on the IMEX show floor on the Wednesday. Expect to engage in conversations that matter, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations that can help shape the future of the corporate events industry.

Specific details on the program format will be released in the following months.

 

When will the program be announced?

ELX are pleased to share that the location of our content day on 14 May, will take place in the Room Rotunde, at Festhalle, Messe Frankfurt. ELX are in the midst of discussion with some of the most exciting and sustainable locations in Frankfurt for our evening networking event. We're also collaborating with our working group, to shape the agenda for this program.

While we can't provide an exact date for the release of these details, we anticipate confirming them by March. Your patience is appreciated, and we assure you that the program announcement will be well worth the wait. Keep your eyes peeled for further information as we work diligently to curate an unforgettable experience for you at ELX Forum.

What does being a hosted buyer at IMEX include?

The hosted buyer program includes:

  • Travel to Frankfurt – reimbursed by IMEX, up to the reimbursement banding limit
  • Free accommodations –organized by IMEX, matched to your group program dates
  • Complimentary transfers between airport –hotel –show
  • The opportunity to network with 3,000+ other buyers and 12,000+ show participants
  • 100s of sessions with CE credits
  • Access to the top suppliers in the industry –3,000+ companies, 100+ countries

Do I need to book my own travel and accommodation?

  • Accommodations are free and organized by IMEX, matched to the ELX program dates. Your accommodation details will be shared with you closer to the time of the event.
  • You are responsible for organizing your own travel to Frankfurt. Your flight/train will be reimbursed by IMEX. All details on how to reimburse your travel can be found here: https://imex-frankfurt.com/travel-reimbursements
  • ELX will source travel from your hotel, to the networking and full day event.
  • If you are unable to accept accommodation or travel - no problem! Just contact a member of our team before registering.

What is expected of me at IMEX as an ELX member attending this event?

ELX members commit to attending portion(s) of the IMEX event, designed to suit their schedules and professional goals. 

This will include: 

  • Attend the IMEX trade show and meetings for the full day on Wednesday 15th May – the following day of the ELX full day of content. Members are welcome to attend the show on additional days if they wish, just contact a member of our team.

  • Pre-book meetings or block meetings (which may or may not be on the show floor) with the most senior industry executives from suppliers in attendance at IMEX.

  • Encourage other members of their teams to join the IMEX showfloor.
