The annual awards celebrate women who are advancing the meetings and events industry through leadership, innovation and lasting impact. Several ELX members and partners were honoured across multiple award categories this year.
About the Smart Women in Meetings Awards
The Smart Women in Meetings Awards were launched more than a decade ago by Smart Meetings founder Marin Bright to recognise the women shaping the meetings and hospitality industry. Bright created the programme after observing that while women make up a significant portion of the industry’s workforce, they were often underrepresented in senior leadership recognition.
What began as a recognition initiative has grown into a widely respected industry programme, highlighting leaders across categories such as Hall of Fame, Visionaries and Innovators. Each year, winners are selected from peer nominations and celebrated both in Smart Meetings magazine and at the Smart Women in Meetings Awards Gala held during the Smart Woman Summit.
These recognitions reflect the strength of leadership within the ELX community and the continued impact of its members across the global meetings and events industry.
